Safae Gounane (1999, Schiedam) is a painter whose work explores relationships, intimacy, existentialism, metaphysics, social structures, and identity. Her figures emerge from intuition, memories, cultural backgrounds, and lucid dream imagery, appearing as manifestations of other timelines. Through painting, she captures layered inner and outer worlds, attempting to make the intangible tangible.
